Author Visit: Gail Jarrow

ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ High students in grades 9-12 are invited to participate in our author visit event with Gail Jarrow! Jarrow writes nonfiction books about topics like diseases, secrets, spiritualists from history and war.

Here's the schedule for the author visit event:

Presentations

• Period 3: "Heart-Stopping History"
• Period 6: "Surprising Science"
• Period 8: "Research & Photography"

Post-presentation Q&A and book signings will happen periods 4, 7 and 9 after the aforementioned presentation sessions. 

Prior to the author visit, students are encouraged to stop by to get a free copy of one of Jarrow's works, courtesy of ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Fund for Education!

Students need to pre-register to participate. Please get a "bookmark pass" by stopping by the library, sign up via this or get a pass from a participating classroom teacher. 

Additionally, there will be copies of Jarrow's books available in the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ High Library for sale if students (or adults!) would like more than one book. Each book is $25 and the following titles will be available: Ambushed!, American Murderer, Blood & Germs, Spirit Sleuths and White House Secrets. Book sales are through The Book House and are cash only.
