Science was front and center even more than usual last week at Edmund J. O’Neal School of Excellence, as elementary- and middle-school students showed off their science smarts to their school community.
Students in grades four and five from the Dual Language Program and Ƶ International Center (AIC) displayed their work Wednesday at the school science fair, and sixth- and seventh-graders from AIC demonstrated their skills Thursday at the school science symposium.
On both days, the scholar-scientists explained their hypotheses, research methods and findings to their classmates, teachers and competition judges. The top three elementary and middle-school projects head to the citywide Joseph Henry Science Fair this Friday at The College of Saint Rose.
Congratulations to all these aspiring Einsteins and developing deGrasse Tysons!
