Spectators were thrilled by the sights and sounds of marching arts on Saturday at the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Indoor Percussion Ensemble’s home show at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ High School.
The event featured six competing ensembles – five visiting schools that competed and three exhibition performances (including the University at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ’s Spirit Band and the UÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Winter Guard). The day also featured a spotlight of the 15 ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ High seniors in the Indoor Percussion Ensemble.
ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Indoor Percussion Ensemble is made up of City School District of ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ students in grades 6-12 who simultaneously play a range of percussion instruments, march, dance and perform theater.
Congratulations and terrific work by seniors Anna Baldes, Robert Berry, Simon Carey, Sonja DePiro, Renee Geraghty, Nora Gordon, Alanna Kaye, Meski Kelle, Jacob Levine, Issah Marisco VonLutz, Nathan Martel, Isabella Scaringe, Owen Sears, Angeline Thompson and Bessa Wells-Rice.
