Indoor percussion show a blast!

Spectators were thrilled by the sights and sounds of marching arts on Saturday at the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ Indoor Percussion Ensemble’s home show at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ High School.

The event featured six competing ensembles – five visiting schools that competed and three exhibition performances (including the University at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ’s Spirit Band and the UÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ Winter Guard). The day also featured a spotlight of the 15 ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ High seniors in the Indoor Percussion Ensemble. 

ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ Indoor Percussion Ensemble is made up of City School District of ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ students in grades 6-12 who simultaneously play a range of percussion instruments, march, dance and perform theater. 

Congratulations and terrific work by seniors Anna Baldes, Robert Berry, Simon Carey, Sonja DePiro, Renee Geraghty, Nora Gordon, Alanna Kaye, Meski Kelle, Jacob Levine, Issah Marisco VonLutz, Nathan Martel, Isabella Scaringe, Owen Sears, Angeline Thompson and Bessa Wells-Rice.

And kudos to alum Nathaniel Wheeler (’24), who came back to his alma mater and !
